The John Brown Room The south bedroom of the Inn is called the John Brown room. John Brown was the Civil War abolitionist famous for his raid on Harper's Ferry. His homestead is on John Brown Road located about one mile from the Inn. The John Brown room is spacious, with amazing views of the 70+ acres of pastures and woodland. The room is completely restored and painted in a warm earth tone to compliment the area's surroundings. There is a queen size bed, reading chair, air conditioning and private bathroom. The Mason Deming Room The north bedroom of the Inn is named after the previous owner, Mason Deming. Mason was a dairy farmer and lived in the farmhouse with his family for nearly 50 years.
