The south bedroom is called the “John Brown” room. John Brown was the Civil War abolitionist famous for his raid on Harpers Ferry. His homestead is on John Brown Road located about one mile from the Inn. The John Brown room is spacious with amazing views of the 70+ acres of pastures and woodland.
The room is completely restored and painted in a warm earth tone to compliment the area’s surroundings. There is a queen bed, reading chair, small refrigerator, and walk-in-closet. The attached private bathroom has all the modern amenities and has been fully restored with the rest of the house.
