The kitchen wing of the
farmhouse was built in the
mid 1770's. At the time, it
served as a general store.
The two cross beams by the ceiling were discovered when the original ceiling height was raised from 7' to the current 9 foot height. The kitchen floor has 7'', 9''
and 11'' wide pine tongue and groove boards.

There is a gas fireplace in the far corner which provides an ambiance of beauty to that room.  The fixture over the kitchen table utilized a combination of low voltage and wax bulb shades to mimic the candle light appearance of the 1770's.

The seven windows on the south wall provide an expansive view to be enjoyed while dining or relaxing near the gas fireplace.

The north bedroom of the Inn is named after the previous owner, Mason Deming. Mason was a dairy farmer and lived at the farmhouse with his family until his death in the early 1990's. He purchased the farm in the early 1940's.
The Mason Deming room is very spacious with a cozy decor. The entire room, including the attached private bathroom, has been completely restored.
